Remembrance

9th November 2018
Remembrance Day marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918.

St John of Jerusalem held a two minute silence on the Friday before Remembrance Day to honour those who lost their lives.

As part of our remembrance celebrations, each class focused on a particular soldier from the war. The children learnt about their life and the incredibly brave things they did for their country. Each class also created their own poppies and wreaths to go alongside the pictures of their soldier.
