The SATs will take place in the week of
Monday 14th May – Friday 18th May. . The SATs tests are national statutory tests and are taken in English and Mathematics. This year sees a change to the way that the English tests are administered. The Writing level is now purely down to a judgement from your child’s teacher rather than from a one off test, which we are delighted about. This should give a much more rounded assessment of your child’s Writing instead of relying on several factors to come together on one day in May! However, Reading and Maths assessments will still be conducted in the same fashion as in previous years during SATs week.
