Welcome to our Nursery class page. It is wonderful to be back ready for the term ahead! Please find useful information in the links attached below.
Your EYFS team are Jorna (Class Teacher), Selina and Purnita (Teaching Assistants)
In the Nursery children learn through a
combination of fun adult led activities and
free play activities of the children's choice.
Records of the children's experiences in the Nursery are recorded in Special Books. These can be in the form of photos, children's work and observations which are personal to each particular child.
P.E. is now going to be on Monday afternoons. Please ensure that your child has is wearing a white t-shirt, brilliant blue shorts or jogging bottoms and trainers or plimsols on that day. Thanks.
Forest School sessions take place on Thursday mornings in all weathers. If it is very cold on those days, please ensure that your child brings or wears an additional fleece or jumper that can fit under the water proof suit provided by the school. The will also need a pair of wellington boots on Thursdays. Thanks.
Book bags must be returned to school on Wednesday mornings and will be given back out to the children on Thursday at home time.
We have lots of opportunities to explore and be physical in our outdoor area.
We love sitting with our friends and eating our healthy school dinners at lunchtime.
We enjoy doing puzzles in our Nursery.
We like building using lots of construction toys.
We enjoy using lots of different construction resources.
